What's the solvent safety bottle cap mainly used for?

Solvent safety caps are mainly used on solvent bottles of liquid chromatography instruments (also called mobile phase bottles).

What is the main function?

            There are two main roles:

            1) Filter the air which enters solvent bottle to prevent dust pollution;

            2) When the liquid chromatograph stop working, it can prevent solvent evaporating from polluting environment.
